CHALLENGE
– To adapt the curvature of the panels to the diameter of the structure.
SOLUTION
The Roflex circular wall formwork system was developed to meet the requirements of constructions with different curvatures such as silos, wastewater treatment plants, car park access ramps and other circular structures.
The construction of the new Cinfães reservoir provided Roflex with the challenge of ensuring the radius of curvature of the structure´s panels complied with the specifications of the project.
The Roflex system maximised the profitability of the works, as it comprises few components, all of which are reusable and compatible with other vertical wall formwork systems, such as Forteko.
This was another job successfully completed by a partner using Metalusa equipment.
