CHALLENGE
– The main challenge pertains to the sharp inclination of the roofs and the need to adjust and make the scaffolding system compatible with the details on the facades. Another challenge was the need to use lifting means with higher range and capacity, since there was limitation of the pre-assembly area of the roof structure and placement of the respective lifting means.
-This rehabilitation work is very rigorous in structural terms because we are talking about a building that is many centuries old.
SOLUTION
Implementation of various temporary roofs with different degrees of inclination, namely 25° and 10°, used depending on the roofs to be rehabilitated.
The scaffolding solution served to rehabilitate the facades themselves and also to support the temporary roofs.
