CHALLENGE
– Adaptation of the structure to the building’s geometry;
–The normal use of the building while the work was being carried out resulted in the creation of access passages using load beams.
SOLUTION
The complete rehabilitation of an 800 m² office building near Brussels, Belgium, the removal of asbestos, the installation of a new roof, in addition to the insulation and finish of the building’s facade and the installation of new facades.
Metalusa´s Nor48 facade scaffolding was the equipment used for work at heights on this building; load beams were used in all the main entrances of the building to ensure the normal unobstructed flow of people and goods entering and leaving the building.
