CHALLENGE
– Concreting at high loads, executing the work in a short period of time.
SOLUTION
The construction of these new industrial premises in northern Portugal used the Forteko® system due to its versatility and modular nature, ensuring it was the perfect system for the execution of this project by the deadline in question.
The building, which will serve as an industrial unit, is located on a plot of land with a slight slope and a harsh climate, especially in winter.
The Forteko® system was used for the walls, panels beams and pillars. All the panels were combined in the vertical and horizontal position, with no limitations and allowing for concreting of up 90 Kn/m² pursuant to the conditions of standard DIN 18218.
Fixed fasteners need to be used to implement different combinations with the Forteko® vertical formwork system. These components serve to tighten two panels together and while aligning two adjacent panels.
