ADAPT® used in the rehabilitation of the Cathedral of Portalegre

The Cathedral of Portalegre was created in the 16th century in a Renaissance style (it later underwent Baroque style alterations) and it is one of the most iconic monuments of this Alentejan city.

The interior is illuminated by 28 windows, it has 16th century tile panels and a noteworthy set of Mannerist style paintings. It is split up into three naves with barrel vaults, round arches and ribs.

The northern lateral façade is made up of six piers; the south side is identical, though it is oriented towards the cloister. Each tower has four eyebolts with round arches where the bells are housed.
